Dan and Bryan Christmas Trees now has three Fresh Cut Christmas Tree lots for you to choose from:

Shepherdstown, West Virginia (weekends only)
Though ours may be a new name, our product has been the choice for freshly cut Christmas trees in Washington and Maryland since the late 1960s when Sundback Trees first began selling trees to our community.

For more than 40 years, Eric Sundback and his wife Gloria have carefully raised and sold beautiful, freshly harvested Christmas trees in the Washington and Maryland area. Their hand-pruned, statuesque trees were often bought by such Washington luminaries as Sen. Edward Kennedy, Ethel Kennedy, Eunice Shriver, and U.N. Ambassador Jean J. Kirkpatrick. The Sundbacks also were contacted by Barbara Bush, while George H. W. Bush was Vice President, who requested their trees for the vice presidential manse and hosted the Sundbacks as guests for coffee and cookies.
In recent years, the Sundbacks have been transitioning the physical work to their two proteges, Dan Taylor and Bryan Holler. Now 40-something themselves, the "boys" have worked with the Sundbacks since they were teenagers, learning the "Sundback Way" to grow beautiful Christmas trees. They learned to hand pick the seed source, hand prune the trees, and how to space the branches for perfect ornament hanging.
In 1996, Eric Sundback helped Dan and Bryan start their own Christmas tree farms. Today, the boys run the retail businesses, and maintain their own farms. Eric and Gloria continue to provide guidance as needed, while maintaining their own 30-acre farm focusing on tree genetics.
